  1. About ShockTalk…
  2. ShockTalk is the player version of the Speech Xtra™ for use with Shockwave for Director. ShockTalk enables you to create Shockwave movies that incorporate spoken interactions for delivery over the World-Wide Web.

  5. Shockwave for Director 5 for Power Macintosh is preferred. Shockwave for Director 4 for Power Macintosh will CRASH! However, you can safely use Shockwave for Director 4 for Mac68K on a Power Macintosh.

  7. INSTALLATION
  8. Install Shockwave using the Shockwave Installer. If you are using Shockwave for
  9. Director 5, place ShockTalk in the NP-PPC-Dir-Shockwave Folder inside the Netscape Plug-ins
  10. folder. If you are using Shockwave for Director 4 for Mac68K, place ShockTalk in
  11. the Netscape Plug-ins folder.

  13. You will also need Apple's PlainTalk Speech Recognition extension installed.
